Where to start to recap the year? It's been a year of "building" in a few ways. My business and continued success in flying. I'd like to do a quick recap on the year.

I created the Flight Mentor Matt business throughout the year, including the legal side of things, ConquerFlight, and my Instagram account. The business is fully setup and ready to go with this blog, service offerings, and other resources. I do not have any mentoring clients yet, but have not been marketing much on this front. I plan to do a splash in 2025 to start getting more traction. On the ConquerFlight front, we have close to 70 downloads of ConquerFlight. I plan to be more aggressive in 2025 with app updates and marketing. My FlightMentorMatt Instagram account has 18 followers and solid engagement on the posts so far. Again, in 2025 the plan is to more regularly release content and grow the following. My book took a back seat to the business side of things but I can almost guarantee will be out in 2025. My hope for next year is that my business can become more center stage in my life, so I can work towards go all-in on this business as my primary career.

The other building was my continued success in flying. I took a total of 13 flights, including three international flights (Costa Rica once and Mexico twice). I had no issues to report from a flight anxiety perspective, before, during, or after. This was my first time out of the United States, and I had a wonderful time on my honeymoon and other trips. My level of comfort flying is way beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I require next to no 'assistance' in flying, whether it be liquid courage or medication, or distractions to escape the reality of flying. Consistency really is key and something that I pride myself on and my mentorship philosophy on. I do not have 2025 mapped out for travel yet but there are multiple international trips on the table.

Thank you to all who have helped me along the way, especially those of you reading this or engaging in my business offerings. Special thanks to my wife Alexa for all of her help on the business, especially FlightMentorMatt. Another big shoutout to Cole Rush for continuing to help me edit my book.
